Idk cus why get so defensive when the family checked her? She could’ve just said “I have no idea who she is I was just tryna be nice”
I more so thought it was a reflection of the hierarchy. Here we think Kate is some higher up person with her famous friend and now we see how above Victoria views herself.
yes. just rewatched the scene, i think you’re right. it serves to make kate be “unmemorable” because that’s exactly who she is. the friend in the middle that never picks a side and has no true identity of her own
related to the conversation Leslie Bibb and Posey had, some people are surprised that never came back around, but I never viewed it as something that ever actually happened
I thought it was just a case of Bibb mistaking Posey for someone else, and Posey just playing nice acting as if maybe it was indeed her. or it was a way to show the audience that she’s always xanned out and doesn’t remember anything
Its in line w Parker Posey character
Do yall even think she will remember the hot asian girl (the one she talked to on the boat and at greg's house) a few months from all this?

Yup 100%. We remember Jaclyn and Laurie wayyyy more than Kate. We can talk about what both those girls did, whereas Kate kinda was just there.
And then with Victoria, holy s*** does she think extremely high of herself.
No s***scenes with Piper or Mook
per Mike White on some podcast, originally there was a written s***scene & romance plot between Piper & Zion, but got cut bc it came off as cheesy or whatever

Interesting
Not sure how they would have even interacted storyline wise
Also not to assume things but Zion's character/actor gave gay vibes too tbh when he was introduced I thought his arc would involve some type of interaction like that
I was betting on Piper hooking up with a Buddhist monk

havent listened to the podcast, but I from what I've read it was meant to tie into the scenes where Saxon was teasing Piper about being a virgin, Zion was supposed to be her first

Ooo interesting
I was wondering where all that teasing was going to lead
When I first heard about incest being a theme for this season I actually assumed Piper and Saxon were going to be the ones to hook up haha

Couldn’t be any cheesier than "HE IS YOUR FATHER!!!!"

I didn’t get that vibe at all but I also don’t think I have a gaydar lol

tbh i agree, felt kinda unearned and cheap way to add some more tragedy to the whole event

I work in the fashion industry and he reminded me of the type of people I work with
No s***scenes with Piper or Mook
thought you meant between them and was like huh??? they literally never interact
another great season
this was my first time watching week to week which made for a great experience to theorize and speculate episode to episode.
i think there were only a couple missteps and that it dragged just a little bit and after watching all 3 seasons the past few months, i dont think this season required a full extra episode over season 2, which i felt was paced perfectly.
Nora Durst my goat!! Would be cool for her to get some award recognition.
excited to see where they go with season 4
2>3>1
thought you meant between them and was like huh??? they literally never interact
That would be hot af
had to rethink initial thoughts
yeah it still is the best season even though there’s some questionable moments in the finale
even though i’m sad chelsea died, it was very fitting for her character
@Terry lost
I always found White Lotus to be a bit overrated but they’re entertaining. Agree with many of the criticisms of that finale. Many times this show has characters make decisions to move forward the plot rather than aligns with the character. I won’t mention the unresolved plot lines because I feel like that’s a staple of the show atp not every character gets their plot wrapped up
But that Lochi set up was about as contrived as it could get in an episode.
Dad leaves the blender out when he’s aware he has a son that makes protein shakes every day —> Lochi decides to use a dirty blender because he wants to try the pina colada I guess although he didn’t need to add protein or water for that —> rest of the family wakes up and decides to let the father sleep in on their last day and leave Lochi behind just so it can be only them 2 for that near death scene.
Don’t get me wrong I really liked the near death scene and the scene with the dad holding his dying son but it needed to be set up better
The dad’s plans was so brain dead in the first place. He’s like cool one of my kids can live with being poor so I’ll have him live as an orphan with no family
