I partially blame developers for intentionally riling up gamers by using this rage-bait as a marketing tactic... because they eat it right up instead of seeing through it. Or maybe they do see through it and choose to get mad anyway? lol

So many of these dorks really wake up for the express purpose of finding the next thing to seethe about, it's ridiculous. And the main reason I'm always cautious with interacting with groups of gamers online, you know?

I was gonna say you just know its because a lot of them are extreme shut-ins who don't go talk to people irl or outside their echo-chamber so the "toxicity" (hate using that word but its the best way to describe it) just keeps getting perpetuated and intensified until it they become so invested in it that it becomes the real world for them.

Then they look at everyone else outside who are more normal and happy than them and go "no THEY'RE the problem, THEY are whats wrong with me". The consequences of being chronically online and having no sense of introspection...
