He was hated A LOT during his KIDS-BSP phase back then, people didn't start taking him seriously until WMWTSO

I mean that's not saying much since discography was never Em's strong point.

That's like saying Pusha T has a better discography than Wayne which is technically true but doesn't tell the whole story.

Mac is a much better artist, he's soulful and relatable. He's smooth and lyrical at the same time. That's why he's better. Sales and popularity don't matter for an artist like Mac.

eminem has 2 classics while mac doesnt have any. And rapping ability mac was better after em fell of but otherwise its not even close. Em has been in and out of the top 10 list since he started while mac isnt really top 30 if were being real. Im a huge mac for what its worth but lets be subjective here.

he's only in and out of the top 10 list because he's more popular and he's the first big white rapper to get "cosigned" by other rappers ( beastie boys and ... vanilla ice already existed )

the albums you call classics aged poorly and even those had some misses , and I guarantee to you a lot of people consider Mac to have 2 to 3 to even 4 classics too

the man kept up and even coined a term we use in rap today keeping up with and even outrapping hov back in the day. He definitely has his accolades based off skill. A lot of rap legends recognize him for that. Everyone thought mac was cool but he never got to that level unfortunately.

His best projects are still watching movies and faces which are near classics but he was still figuring it out. I'll admit the sslp didnt age that well but his mmlp still has iconic songs to this day. Lets not act like because eminem puts out more trash now that he didnt open a lot of doors rapping his ass of back then.
