The way I understood it is that it's the original recordings & beats but with a new mix

the HoB re-release is literally just the MP3s of the OG on streaming, not the masters of those files

the Trilogy release was the mixtapes re-mixed & re-mastered, uploaded in lossless, but that’s not what the HoB re-release is

It's not clear why he/they (label) went with this choice, (maybe they overlooked the detail, and forgot that they're sharing the lossy files?).

But he should.

Trilogy got a proper release, and the OG mixtapes more than deserve it too. Fan service or not, he's making money off it. Be it people buying it to enjoy listening, or for collector purposes.

I repeat, he should.

Well, somebody needs to be fired.

It's more of a disappointment at the mess. And it would be ideal if this goes to his attention. As a paying customer, and as a fan, we deserve it. We can't say "we shouldn't actually expect him to do things properly", cause if so, he already tried this lazy s*** once in 2012 with the $200 Trilogy LPs box-set, that he promised it would be "hand-signed", when initially it wasn't.

His team did make a mistake that time, and it was supposed they were professionals, cause he had signed with repubelick.

No sir, when he doesn't do things properly we should pull his ear.
