most these new artists arent front to back "album artists" and theyre always in collectives with mad weed carriers, plus they record a ton of music that never gets released and fans end up leaking. the new YSL signees are recording Slime Language 3 with the live on twitch gimmick, i'd probably rather listen to 20 tracks with a variety of voices than a 20 track album from one guy tbh.

or also imagine clothing brands putting out compilations like how mishka used to sponsor mixtapes back in the day. 1017 alyx 9sm put out a tape a few years ago and they had people like f1lthy and ethel cain on it. i feel like that idea could be expanded on.
