Are you sure you don't mean sequenced or structured? Cause I'm pretty sure I could make multiple 7 track versions of Donda with throughlines naratively, thematically, musically, etc. Hell, multiple tracks with the same collaborator to boot.

am i sayin that i have the skills or experience to EP ye? no, im just saying that as a gucci fan i would prefer more albums over longer ones. that way you dont half to scrap half your album because it took so long to put it out your divorce tracks become irrelevant

if we had a "im losing my family" album last month and got a "jesus lord"/"gds in the door" album/deluxe this month everyone would have liked this more

I just did. It's when the album fits together musically, narratively, thematically, etc with a sense of shared identity or creative principles. Of course, you can make an electic album with interesting contrasts, but that too can be cohesive if there's a discernible purpose behind the contrasts.

The problem with Donda is that it's A LOT of music to package together or even take in at once. If you cut it down to 7, you can absolutely make it cohesive and sequenced in a compelling way.

sure i can go in and delete 20 songs, but no there really arent even just seven tracks that work really well together. if i make a 7 track donda for myself it will probably be more cohesive but it wont be a good album. Ye isnt able to give anything his all because he's spread too thin
