Really really dug this. It wears its influences on its sleeve but it all comes together in one entertaining gonzo package. Zazie kills it (literally and figuratively) and there are some really creative shots and sequences in this. Not everyone will love this but this is my kind of f***ing movie.

F***ing fun-ass movie, action was superb, fight choreography was really good, gore was lovely, pacing was dope, Zazie is so damn beautiful mane.

My gripes with the film is that they could've added more steak and potatoes (aka depth) towards the relationship between Asia and her sister. Definitely would've given the climax much more emotional pull and raised the stakes a bit.

Wasn't a fan of the main antagonist motivations of why the Virgil hotel first originated. Really wished that the writers could've found a more complex way as to why they created the hotel or just kept them evil for the love of the game.

Another gripe is I wished they could've ramped up the horror elements within Asia's journey of recovering her sister. This was way more funny than I anticipated too, low-key reminded me of how funny my first viewing of The Substance was in terms of how comedic body horror can be.

This low-key makes me finally to watch Hotel Artemis for the first time now.

Fun, very Kill Bill/Evil Dead inspired. Over the top but it knows that.
