Heading there tomorrow for a business trip and will have some spare time
Is there anything cool I should check out?
My city
The weather is nice so I'd def go see Nyhavn, it's the most photogenic spot in the city. Decent restaurants/bars but the gem is Rajissimo icecream, get the waffles with sprinkles on top
The main shopping street is "Strøget" and there's some nice historical spots around. On one end you have the oldest amusement park in the world, Tivoli and the main square. Entry costs though. There is also Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek which is the best museum in town. Parallel to the shopping street is Christiansborg and Rundetaarn, both historical buildings.
Kongens have and Rosenborg Slot are quite nice to look at when it's sunny outside, nice place to relax and kill 30 minutes. Pizza Huset is nearby and it's the best pizza in town and their sandwiches are killer as well
Also go see Christiania obviously
Torvehallerne is also nice to see, small restaurants and speciality shops. You can try Danish oysters here if that's something for you, also "fiskefrikadeller" which are a specialty.
If you're into vintage clothing, peep Episode, Wasteland and the two København K's close-by to strøget. For designer vintage, for sure hit up BauBau, their stuff is insane The walk up there around Søerne is also quite nice

all this but u wont meet the man?
Can’t sleep so I thought I’d update the thread
Copenhagen is beating the racist allegations!!!!!
Everyone is so nice and helpful
Some guy at McDonalds was telling me there was some big concert at Tivoli and that’s why everything was so busy
We only got to explore abit last night from like 12am to 1am, but it was so beautiful and literally packed everywhere
The one thing I noticed is that these mfs LOVE to drink alcohol
Plan for today is to follow the list that William posted ITT
Also going to a place called Juno Bakery
Unless you know a better one? @William1738
Went to Juno’s Bakery
Looks nice af actually haven’t been there myself

yeah if you walked past the party areas of Vestergade/Gothersgade then it's all bars and young people, fantastic vibes
Glad you enjoyed the little time you got to spend

It's not different from any capital in Europe, for better or worse
Nah not every city in europe is so overwhelmingly white
Copenhagen isnt in Türkiye
