Would you drop out of college if you were offered a job that gave you $35 a hour? Honestly thinking about it, would make more money then my college major
whats the job
dont do it
Basically assistance management of a golf course
Not worth it. What are you in school for? How far along are you with getting the degree?
$35 an hour is not much in the grand scheme of things. Unless you really need the money now, it's not worth abandoning your education. Even if you plan to return "soon", it often doesn't work out that way for people who dropped out

So it sounds like you're making your way towards a salaried position with possible benefits and the like. Does this job currently being offered to you also give you benefits, at least?
Ultimately you're the only one who will know what the "right" move is. If you drop out for this job, you may always wonder "what if". If you don't, the worst that happens is that you lost out on some more immediate money. Do you think you could advance to higher positions from this job?

Damn bro great advice, gonna have to give it some thought. The place offering me the job is where I used to work part time in high school so I’m pretty familiar with it. For benefits basically it’s the pay lol
1) there arent many good jobs even for people w a degree
2) students arent learning anything online anyway
taking a break from zoom university to stack some bread during the pandemic might be good for you op, depending on how close you are to graduating and other job prospects

Do the job part time or ask for full time hours and pack your classes on Tuesday / Thursday. So you can get 32 hours

$35 an hour most people would kill for that

Most people would kill for a college degree that can earn them even higher. Do you know how poor "most people" are? If OP is already in a position to finish college and earn higher down the road, why should he logically abandon that? Unless he needs the money NOW, or he has a business idea he's confident in

College doesn’t necessarily equate to a high paying job especially immediately. I’m not suggesting OP should up and quit it varies from situation to situation but that level of pay is more than enough to make a comfortable living off of especially if you live in an area that isn’t that expensive. That’s literally almost five times minimum wage. I’m just saying that’s not something to scoff at and it definitely warrants thinking about it imo. You can always go back to school, I did after I had my job and they’re paying for my degree for me
