It’s concise tracklist and balance between this luxurious sound and the trap stuff which was JUST starting to come out that Ross hadn’t ever really rapped on before. Only song I don’t fw is No. 1 and it’s not that it’s a bad song but I don’t f*** with Trey Songz and Diddy is hard to listen to these days anyways

his antics outside the music hurt him but his music itself makes a case for him being top tier so easy - especially once you get over the 50 beef and "fraud" s***. which i used to be one of those people until one of the all time greatest back to back hitters of god forgives and rich forever he did, then he became one of my favs

anyone else with ross' beat selection and skill would be in a top tier convo easily if they didnt have his controversies attached

he has full blown quality "concept" full body projects too with god forgives, mastermind, black dollar mixtape and rather you than me

he also smokes most of his features - along with having a lot of respect from legends and ogs

POM2 & RTIEB are good albums as well after RYTM

theyre good but i feel theyre not on the level of the others as a full body of work, but theyre still dope and to me are his "victory lap" and "legacy" part of his now career after rather you than me

but yeah he did announce an album called Champagne Moments in late 2023 or early 2024 but it has no release date and more than likely got put on the backburner for now due to the kendrick and drake beef he was also apart of and is still ongoing swallowing up all attention and news in the rap genre

late 2025 or sometime 2026 is probably when it will happen if i had to guess atm
