im from the uk but havent been tapped in with the uk scene for years now

i keep seeing mad hate for the "the sun goes down my zoot goes up" song but never knew what it was till now

why is there so much hate? like its bad but from my point of view as someone who doesnt pay attenion to the uk scene it doesn''t sound too different to a lot of the watered down uk rap i've heard occasionally
