I like my fountain pen, I love Caran D'Ache pens as well, but for me nothing beats the Pilot G-2 07.

Yessirr, I forget what brand it was but I had to get these special pencils for art class one year (had variations of softness think it came with 1 -8) the #2 ones were godly for notes, better then Ticonderoga
