I dont like mechanical pencils at all tbh, I'd rather use a pen then a pencil but definitely would prefer a regular pencil over those

I used something a lot like that in college. I want to say it was a Papermate grip pen, but it was basically the same thing.

Gotta have a good grip pad with some thickness to the ink. I don't like the pens that come out looking like thin ass chicken scratch

Yessirr, I forget what brand it was but I had to get these special pencils for art class one year (had variations of softness think it came with 1 -8) the #2 ones were godly for notes, better then Ticonderoga
