so my friend showed me this video today.
obviously that guy is a f***ing idiot. i think we can all agree on that.
i told my friend that i feel bad laughing about people like this, because they obviously have mental issues. and that someone needs to show them to love themselves, cause it doesnt matter what race you are.
but at the same time, this is the “problem” i have with trans people. are they really that different from the guy in the video? i dont hate them, but i feel bad for them. they think something’s wrong with them, and then we send them to doctors to mutilate their genitals into sth that vaguely resembles the opposite sex’s ones and make them social outcasts for the rest of their lives. its a hard life they live, a lot of them commit suicide.
it doesnt matter what race or gender you are. the world hasnt completely caught up with that yet, but we will get there. changing your exterior to fit their expectations is not the key, loving yourself no matter what is.
people destroying themselves with a s***ton of plastic surgery or getting eyeball tattoos that turn them blind are the same way for me. i dont want to tell people what to do, i just wanna help them realize that the key to self love doesnt lie in a surgery, its in your head and soul. mind over matter.
