The subject matter has to be about trapping and obviously trap beats. Rodeo just has trap beats. It isn’t considered a trap album. It’s still amazing tho

Trap has evolved into a sound more than a lyrical focus. Like u can have some kid from the suburbs rapping about partying over a trap beat and it will still fall under trap
