I get that servers don’t get paid a lot, i’ve worked as a server for a really short time but i didn’t get paid in tips. Just got paid a normal salary. Know your worth don’t apply for those s*** jobs unless you really really need it. Plenty of fast food chains hiring/grocery stores
Garbage opinion. Tip at least 20% when you dine out because that’s why people work there. Fast food and grocery stores are minimum wage jobs and you go into a serving position expecting great money. You can easily make $25 an hour minimum in tips alone in a major city

Why would you tip? You’re there to eat food you’re bringing business to the place you’re eating at. If the food is good it’s good, you don’t tip the chef do you? I get that servers don’t get paid a lot, i’ve worked as a server for a really short time but i didn’t get paid in tips. Just got paid a normal salary. Tipping is a dumb concept absolutely, but in America you have to because that's why they work these jobs. You're only hurting the server if you don't tip them it's not making a point or anything
