Almost every neighbour of Russia/old-Soviet state is afraid of Russia and/or is being mentioned as a possible target after Ukraine on Russian television. They are openly advocating imperialism. But some American ktt communists try to spin it in a way that Ukraine deserved it. All those civilians deserved it because Ukraine flirted with the West and didn't want to be in a Russian chokehold. See the weirdest takes on this site, and yes there are literal neo nazis in the Ukranian army. But that's a big problem in Eastern Europe in general, including Russia. That's like watching a video of someone getting killed by a refugee in Sweden and saying "see all those refugees are bad people and deserve to die... A refugee that don't even want to be there. I was hearing about the Russian advances on the border since 2020/2021 and I was on the middle on that tbh, I was also skeptical of the U.S reports that Russia was definitely going to invade
I thought Russia was just saber rattling just to pull out at the end, I didn’t think they would directly invade and try to take out Kiev in one fell swoop, because that move would be quite arrogant and stupid, as it later proved itself to be, in practice
