After the release of Eternal Atake a trend of Dance inspired synth trap beats is starting to take over the market, this genre is called Hyperpop/Virtual. Brandon Finessin is the pioneer of this particular style, with songs like Venetia, Celebration Station, and Patek he fits Uzi style with a sorta refreshing but repetitive style.

Meanwhile from Sweden, Sad Boys/Drain Gang are starting to get attention for their unique production which is very electronic inspired as well. Bladee in particular is slowly growing a bigger fanbase by each day, and the Drain Gang collective could be very influential on this decade’s music.

Do you guys see this particular sound taking over the mainstream?

Whitearmor would get the recognition he deserves if it takes over the mainstream

Also companies are making AI Music generators as well which could influence this decade if they evolve quickly enough to be useful

I don’t think this is the type of dance music but I think dance music is what’s gonna be big in the 20s

Franks doing it with s*** like Dear April (Justice version)

    Weeknd is doing it

    TikTok is helping it too

I think it’s also gonna lead to the wide exposure of the Drain Gang/Sad Boys producers who might shape the sound of this decade

Yea honestly they got something going with that style, it’s like when Rocky was working with Clams Casino in 2011 they helped shape cloud rap

Plus the Weeknd bringing back synthwave should tell you something about what people are starting to gravitate to
