    Big Rings hook is horrendous

It’s one of the best unintentionally hilarious moments in hip hop

Both did great on the project, not sure why people who like it want to say who carried who as if the delivered product isn't a classic.

Big Rings the worst track up there tho.

    Drake cared

A lot of the great songs get slightly boring when Future has his verse

Bullshit aside I’ve always wanted that tape to just be Future

    Big Rings hook is horrendous

Worst moment of the tape by far

  • Jan 15, 2020

For me being completely candid I had that opinion for a few years because that style was so great. But Drakes flow on that album aged better besides the first two songs

  • Jan 15, 2020

I wouldn’t say Drake carried cause that just seems like some choosing sides s*** that ppl feel like they have to do for everything, but Drake is definitely the most interesting part of all of the songs to me

  • Jan 15, 2020

I used to say it needs a Future only version but I only said that to make Drake fans mad back when I was a yute

the beat for Big Rings is nuts. Should have gone to Lil Wayne or something for Carter V, neither Drake nor Future did that great on it

Digital Dash and Jersey are the only two songs i've revisited in the last year or two, other than "30 for 30" which is a great latter-day Drake "getting personal" type of track.

Live For The Gutter and Scholarships were also good overall. The rest is mad forgettable other than in terms of the beats.

Overall I'd give it like a 7/10 on a good day, in terms of just skipping around and overall impact/vibe of the project and a 5/10 on a bad day (aka if I had to listen to it front to back)

Diamonds Dancing is not that good. Basically a bootleg "Crew Love." and Drake's end part is not legendary, it more or less ruins the song IMO. Just more of Drake's lame salty entitled bullshit that characterizes like 30% of his material any time he's tried to "get real" post-Take Care

Plus Drake jacked his "and you knooooow what I neeeeed" part from Abra's tune "U Kno" as was pointed out (by her) at the time.
