Heartless turned out to be one of the best songs on here and that song is garbage
Why does everyone feel their s***ty opinion deserves its own thread
you didnt know it was that kind of thread from the title? people make threads stay out of the ones you dont like whats so hard to understand about this
Might be tbh. Not garbage, but the vocals dont shine on this album like they used to on Trilogy and KL. This is the more polished, studio enhanced Weeknd. Still good tho
BBTM was polish. This is overproduced, vocals-drowned-out-in-autotune garbage.

It is fact. The only Abel fans who think this is a good album started listening to him in 2019.
Saw a couple people say this is his best work ever. Ridiculous
First heard him in 2011, this is his second best album behind HOB
This thread just an attention seeking safe space loll we coulda done this in the main thread

His vocals were drowned out on a lot of Trilogy too but they still stood out because of how awesome and melodic they were. Since about BBTM his singing is very polished. He used to belt out verses(GTG, Wicked Games, The Knowing) but now he uses very similar flows/structure for all his verses and I really miss when he would belt out his vocals. For example, I love the title track but I think it wouldve been a top 3 Weeknd song if the verses were stronger/belted out instead of being so structured like he wrote them. Before it felt like he was free styling. Just imo tho

Yeah. His vocals used to be much more pronounced. Now he doesn't even try and he leans too much on autotune.
Only after hours track is good, no one is gonna play any other songs ever again.
Embarrassing for Abel to release this
You're cool
