    imo this is when "the old Ye" was clearly no longer

    True. Ye was the 1st album that didn't feel that special. Like it could've been a mixtape or EP.

    Still has some classic songs on it while some others feel like filler.

    That said, I still kinda enjoy it. Ye, KSG, Donda, V1, and Bully are albums I still enjoy even if it doesn't compare to MBDTF or 808s and what have you.

    It's really D2, V2, and JIK that I think are bad, mainly because of how demo-like they feel. It still blows my mind how superior Jesus Is Born and the Yandhi leaks were compared to JIK. JIK should've been like JIB with some Christian rap thrown in.

    for me the decline is and always was tlop. still don't think it's good as an album. first album that had no vision whatsoever (the fact that it had no vision became partly the point, but i think as consequence, not initially)
