It’s the cool thing to do I guess
mostly by twitter losers who haven't and never will accomplish half of what he has lol
Wait yall be f***ing with this this Hamiliton s*** That s*** is way too sympathetic towards us history and the genocidal slave owners but okay
it really isn't but keep running with that narrative
Neva seen it
Wonderful story, if you got HBO Max or a couple bucks to spend for a movie ticket (def recommend seeing in theaters) it’s amazing

this you lin?
Non black dude makes hip hop musical about slave owners bruh
"we'll never be free until we end slavery" is literally a line in the play...they don't excuse it or ignore it...fact is Hamilton and the others did other things besides own slaves and were responsible for starting America...if the play was just about slavery and still glamorized them you'd have a point...it's about the beginning of America, writing the Constitution, etc...and it doesn't even glamorize these characters...Jefferson gets called out for slave labor, Hamilton is portrayed as a sleazy loudmouth who basically gets his son killed, Burr is a jealous f***...if you find the concept of the play or casting POC in those roles as corny fine but it's a brilliantly written piece of work as is In the Heights
and let's me real even if he was black ppl would s*** on Lin just like Sam Jackson was criticizing Daniel Kaluuya saying there should have been another star for Get Out because he's a black man from the UK and doesn't know about slavery like that...c'mon now
Hating Immortal Technique out of peer pressure is a sign of weak character

Puerto Ricans are black, as much as it pains Puerto Ricans or anyone else to hear it. That being said, is it unfortunate that he chose to write a whole hip-hop musical about the slave owners who started this little funky-ass country? Yes.
