Despite what the ceo said. The blackout is working. Advertisers holding their campaigns from happening and impressions are way down
the power of le reddit army
Reddit is overhated
Reddit is amazing as an information aggregator but you have to avoid the comment sections
we had more organized online mobilization when we went to target and tried to get employees to sell us early copies of Oxymoron
I'm pretty sure most of those people are parents now or living normal lives
r/nba shutting down during finals especially
90% of the reason I go on Reddit is NBA news.
It sucks. Had to go to NBAcirclejerk and all they do is talk out of line s*** about kobe
I like to be able to read bad sports takes without the risk of some homoeroticism that exists in the Sports Sxn
You make those posts
I'm pretty sure most of those people are parents now or living normal lives
nah man some of us are still here
:cryfam:
You make those posts
Watch it, or I'm gonna stretch you out and I'm not talking about yoga
Who cares about sending a message when they don’t give a single f*** and aren’t gonna do s***
Do something impactful or we’re just being little babies
You won’t even join a protest with something as simple as a blackout and yet you are criticizing people’s levels of protest?
You niggas can’t be saved

cause some third party app developers don't want to pay reddit to be able to keep their apps up lol
I use apollo so it effects me but i still really don't give a f*** lmao, it's not that big of an inconvenience
plus it's their app anyway so if third party developers dont like it why dont they just make their own f***ing app
what are they even protesting 😭
Reddit killing 3rd party apps, which removes many mod tools and is the only way some can use reddit, in order to force ad revenue increases right before they go public and presumably sell off the site before it's worth collapses

Cant they just use a browser or reddit app i dont see the point
what apps and what mod tools lol
Auto mods, spam filters, general bots, and every 3rd party app, they can't afford 20 million a year to stay up lol
I gave up because I cannot stand what the official app forces you to look at and HHH is gonna completely go to s*** (some regulars won't be able to use reddit anymore so f*** it) so I'm out
Blackout ain't doing anything anyways reddit already made their mind and I guarantee they knew this was going to happen anyways. The site will probably fall apart as a whole by 2024 after it goes public
this ain't nothing worth protesting for man, is my point lmao
You say this as if it’s taking tons of effort
Mods literally just flipped a switch on their subs
I would agree if ppl were out in the streets but it takes no effort
