I remember a time when YouTube was acting a fool back around 2014-2015, where a bunch of creators started migrating to DM to push content. I thought it was right as a platform but it didn't do anything to differentiate itself from the competition.

KTT2 brehs, do you think that Dailymotion was cool for what it was or did it deserve the bad rep it did at the time?

For me, it was just a place to go to watch s*** that got deleted from YouTube and reupped there, or s*** that was copyright protected that people uploaded there instead of youtube

they were somehow more lenient with copyright.. not sure how

Used to watch so much anime on there back in middle school, around 2007-2008 They even had movies for a while on there too
I have no idea how this website still survives, even in France I don't know anyone that uses it.

Also, the only place where you can find a lot of R Kelly videos that have been banished from YouTube (not saying this is a good thing btw you weenies)

A great archival site with less strict copywrite rules. There is probably a lot of lost media buried in there.
