he's fire, one of the best country singers of the generation
not really sure why he decided to release Growin Up + Gettin Old as 2 separate albums a year apart instead of just all at once or a deluxe type thing. still looking forward to Gettin Old though, think itll be another solid album
I’ve never dug too deep into his music but the few songs I’ve heard have all been good so I need to check it all out
On Everything I Love i been seeing His name and the Whole time i thought he Was One of Diddy kids.
New album tonight
This s*** is fire, godamn
that Fast Car cover
He’s got a Fast Car cover?
Boi if you don’t bless your ears with that in the next 5minutes
He a b**** for that Fast Car cover. Trying to capitalize on a black woman’s moment and steal her streams

I have zero opinion on his cover, but that sometimes crosses my mind on what the ethics are on a male artist covering a song.
Like if they're covering a womens song is it stealing the spotlight? Or is covering a mans song misusing your platform to not boost a song that isn't from a man.

I could be wrong and his cover might predate the song getting popular on TikTok and what he actually did was help shine light onto the original.
I thought he saw the song getting popular and decided to eat off another artist's plate. Idk which one it actually is though

Oh no Fast Car has been popular since it came out
Like the original version by Tracy Chapman is legendary so it's not like he was doing it as some way to cash in on hype

he originally covered it years ago
fast car is already an extremely iconic and beloved hit, and not like she doesnt get money from his version anyway
