    A Mad Ass Nigga

Outside of the name dropping, Kendrick verse is nothing special. One of the most overrated verses of all time.

    Niggas buggin

Everybody was talking about that when it dropped. That’s saying a lot considering Kendrick style of rapping isn’t what’s poppin nowadays

All of a sudden niggas wanna care about bars and wanna pick apart Kendrick verse bc he wasn’t spittin crazy punchlines or whatever. The energy he had on that verse was partially why it had people hype. He sounded so hungry

Plus it was a big statement at that point in his career. He was still new to the public, GKMC was out, and people were already saying he was one of the best rappers out during that time

  • Apr 13, 2020

they aint even put his whole verse on the song lol

    kendrick got washed.

The whole world flipped out about that verse.

The only 2 people who say it wasnt anything just happen to be one of the dudes that got washed in the track and one of the people mentioned in the verse that got in his lil feelings

Yeah a lot of revisionist mentality going on here for sure

  • Apr 13, 2020

Why do yall insist on re-litigating this s***

  • Apr 13, 2020

it’s overrated cos alot of ppl say its one of kendricks best verses when it lyrically isnt even top 10 features, let alone verse to me.

cant deny its impact though, and its a very lazy criticism when saying kendrick doesnt ‘say anything’ lol

I only listen to the song for Big Sean and Kendrick forreal both killed it

  • Apr 13, 2020

kendrick did have the worst verse when taken out of context but it was very clearly the most impactful
