American superstar Pitbull brought the curtain down on Blackweir Live 2026 in front of 35,000 people. Cardiff turned into a sea of bald caps and suits as fans mimicked the Miami rapper's trademark look.
Mr Worldwide promised to "bring the party" to the capital on his I'm Back tour. He certainly did that as one of Cardiff's biggest parks turned into a nightclub with an electric atmosphere. You can read our full review of the night here.
Pitbull told the crowd at the start of the evening: “It’s an honour and a blessing to be here tonight. We appreciate the love here in Cardiff.
“They told me backstage that to say thank you here in Wales I need to say ‘diolch’, so diolch very much, I appreciate it. Now, we all know what we came here to do tonight – it’s simple – we came here to PARTY!!” After the crowd told him the pronunciation was slightly off, Mr Worldwide said he was determined to get it right. Pitbull didn't stop for the 90-minute set as he performed all his greatest hits including Timber, Don’t Stop The Party, Hotel Room Service, Damn I Love Miami, Gasolina, International Love and Fireball. Mr Worldwide was the last act to headline Blackweir 2026. More than 160,000 music fans attended the gig series this year to see headline shows from The Cure, Teddy Swims, Pitbull and two nights with Lewis Capaldi.
