do yall think thugs implants really changed his voice that much or was it more of a conscious thing? bc i was reading and interview the other day where he was talking about this "clean slick look" that he's had for a while now, and it made me think maybe it was again more of a decision of his.

i think its safe to say it really changed the tone of his voice at least a bit and let him pronounce clearer, since his teeth were all f***ed up before that

and he never ever really sounded the same as before fixing them up, which i would guess cause he just cant

Yeah, I think he always wanted his teeth fixed and he heard what it did to his voice and then created this new style. Or maybe he decided to get his teeth fixed already having this new style in mind

Whenever any rapper or singer does something with their teeth it always changes their vocals slightly. With thug already being so experimental vocally that change prob just unlocked a whole new world for him. One of the first snippets we got after was OMG where he says “every since I got my mouth fixed I been a whole new species”

Although I think he would have gotten "better" regardless, most artist sound way better than they did earlier in their career.
