For as long as I’ve been listening to Abel, I always wrote off Thursday as the weakest out of the trilogy. However, I heard the tape again yesterday out of curiosity AND BOY WAS I WRONG. I found myself kind of shocked at just how experimental this record was compared to HoB. I don't understand how this record is seen as inferior compared to the other tapes because the sequencing is sooooo flawless.

it doesn't deserve all the hate it gets (any project with lonely star and the birds can't be bad), but following up House of Balloons and preceding Echoes of Silence gives it a lot to live up to, and it doesn't always reach the standards of those two tapes.

makes me wish he hadn't given so many songs/ideas to Drake. I think Thursday could have been a lot stronger had it incorporated some of those tracks and concepts.

What ideas/tracks specifically do you recall that he gave to Drake? I know about Crew Love(I love the new leak that just came out).

its the best in the trilogy imo side by side with eos. hob is the weakest

Personally my favorite. The title track is top 5 imo.

EOS and THURSDAY always in my rotation ever since trilogy came out
HOB is amazing but those 2 just cant get old and overplayed

only song that i skip is life of the party cause im not always in the mood for it

Compared to EoS and HoB. I’ve never seen anybody bring it up as much those projects

I like thursday more than EoS lol
