Yes. Have you listened to his albums

Section 80 - plight of the children that were birth in the crack era and how their worlds turned out.

GKMC - true life story of life turned to deceit that ended in death of flesh and birth of spirit.

    TPAB - self explanatory.

DAMN. - wickedness or weakened. Making
Choices and how they effect those that you don’t even meet yet.

have you heard any kanye albums before TLOP? lol not tryna s*** on kendrick cus like i said he’s my favorite rapper OAT, but if he’s revolutionary for making albums about his life then so is 90% of rappers

  • Nov 20, 2020

the most revolutionary rapper was undeniably Rakim. maybe in 20 years you could say Thug

  • Nov 20, 2020

    Thats NWA

  • Nov 20, 2020

rakim changed rapping from an accompaniment to a club hit designed to get people going and the party bumping, to dense lyrics made to be heard in headphones and figured out, tell stories, etc.

more responsible than anyone for hip hop primarily being about rapping

there are others around that time he doesnt have sole credit ofcourse

  • Nov 20, 2020

He said Most *Successful Revolutionary Rapper Alive and that's fact

  • Nov 20, 2020

Most Revolutionary Rapper is Immortal Technique btw

  • Nov 20, 2020

    Real

  • Nov 20, 2020

    100%

I drove 11 hours on a trip alone the other day and put on the Kendrick Lamar EP all the way to Damn and the progression and stories that this man tells are absolutely the greatest ever to touch the rap industry.

idk Kendrick almost might be the least revolutionary rap legend

I didn’t remember him creating any influential sound 🤷🏼‍♀️

Idk his sound is pretty unique
