The beef stemmed from Icey. It was Gucci's track, but since it was popping, Jeezy wanted it on his album, they wouldn't give it to him.
It's funny, since then, Jeezy's denied that he wanted it on TM 101, but it was on the unmastered Advance that leaked in early 2005.
I wish they did a doc so we could see how it went from this to songs like And then what and soul survivor

the label wanted Icy, Jeezy didnt give a s*** about the record. Gucci released Round #1 when Jeezy was having vocal surgery so he couldnt perform, Big Cat Records pushed the diss record officially as a single for DJs, yet Gucci wants to lie and say Stay Strapped came first, its pretty obvious who started & provoked it, it doesn't take a genius to understand Gucci was opportunistic af in 05

I think there was like a Hoodz DVD about it, back in like 2006-2007. I probably still have it somewhere.
Jeezy literally sent people to kill gucci
Like no music bs or anything, a real life hit
Wouldnt be surprised if gucci just clowns him for even reaching out
It blows my mind he never did time for this

I guess you could say Jody's shelved album A Day In The Life Of Jody Breeze was presumed to pop even when Streetz Iz Watchin came out, but after Trap Or Die came out it was over with for Jody's expensive ass album lmao
I just look at old articles on the net and rap magazines
