I do agree it's useless if it is two artists not from the same generation.
Anyone who grew up with Jay-Z will just side with him even before the battle begins, same with Drake.
That's also why a Lil Kim/Nicki, etc wouldn't work either. People just automatically come into the battle choosing whoever is from their time.
