yea the algorythm is insane cause it slowly learns who you are based on what videos you watch longer and I fall for it everytime cause i be wasting precious time on that app every night . also incentivizes people to upload more cause everyone has a chance to go viral on that app regardless of followers, s*** is so well designed its scary.

It's definitely the GOAT social media app but it still has its downsides. My fyp is great, lots of informative content so I'm always learning something new and interesting when I open the app. But after the first 15 minutes it becomes kinda trash. You gotta know when to put down the phone and walk away

i dont have the app but from what i understand you just got to tough it out a few days and like/dislike a bunch of videos and then the algorithm kicks in
