    but majority of what ive seen just looks like kids dancing and just flat out cringe/embarrassing s***.

    hopefully that changes or maybe we get a better app that seperates the kids from the adults or something

    TikTok’s demographic is mainly middle-high schoolers by a large margin. you can’t trust the data they release for their age range either bc legally, you have to be 12 to sign up for any social media platform, so a lot of kids on there lied about their ages when they signed up in middle school & the data is skewed.

    there’s nothing wrong with TikTok, it’s a great social media app for kids. but just like adults shouldn’t be watching Barney if they don’t wanna be labeled pedos, people outside their teen years shouldn’t be on TikTok if they don’t wanna be labeled pedos

    i use tiktok the same way i used vine

    which is never installing the app and just watching the ones that go viral on other social media platform
