AGoodBoyoJay Z made the blueprint in 2001. Remember that album? the one full of chopped up soul samples?
He also made an album primarily consisting of soul samples in 2017. Soul music has been a staple in his 3 decades as a musician. Guys like Just Blaze and Kanye have given him some of his best soul beats.
He might not have a huge catalogue of chipmunk specifically, but to think he wouldn't be at home on this beat is f***ing nuts dude, sorry!
