  • Hey hi, hello!!

I've been getting my s*** together and finally am at a point to where I can start investing in more fashion, so I copped me a pair of Foxtrot Timbs and nigga

The only problem is I ordered them a size 11 (my regular shoe size), but when they got here, they were a lil too big

Now, I could exchange them, but the buyer from Amazon is really sketchy/they're not too bad after walking in them, but any suggestions to help them be tighter/not crease as easily? Thank you guys in advance. :)

(I would've bought them from Timberland themselves to make the exchange easier but they only got them in Canada/UK smh)

I wear thick socks, or two pairs of socks, with them for true mobility

funny enough, my last pair of Timbs I inherited from my uncle where a half size down from these new ones and are more loose than these ones (though probably because I broke them hoes down)

    Agreed!

    This is key.
I do two socks and it works well.

I love Timberlands and the look it gives jeans resting on them🔥

Yeah, I remember when I bought my first pair, like 10 years ago, of the 6 inch premium boot, I went TTS and they were almost a size too big. I always go down a full size in Timbs cause I have narrow feet so I can get away with a full size down, some get half a size down, it just depends.

Anyway, what I did was - got a nice decent quality wool insole, you wear Timbs mostly in fall/winter (at least I do) and the wool insole actually helps keep your feet warm and reduces the space for your feet in the boot, making them fit almost TTS. Plus, wear some nice thicker socks, that combined with the wool insole, will not only make them fit better, but, like I said - keep your feet nice and warm.

Next time, just try any colorway of the boot in person so you know whether to size half or a full size down, and then order the colorway you want, if you can't get it in person. Hope this helps

  • been a fan of black times for a minute. Was always a fan of how Pharrell styles his. Ive noticed Ive noticed the fit of them kinda changes based on what pair you get but normally I think you are safe to size down .5 every time.
