It’s so weird… they were on their way to becoming the new VU

I thought I was d***riding but I’ve seen this sentiment elsewhere, they really made interesting guitar music. To hard pivot to Brit pop in this way is weird. Why make 2000’s euro pop rock music when you can make boundary breaking stuff like you proved was possible..

It makes me sad especially bc like u said, double virgo had a unique sound seperate to BI that felt closer to their old sound, but even their older material was better than the new stuff.. i cant even get myself to listen to the new DV….
