the album is "night time, my time" by sky ferreira. she had an album that was supposed to drop early 2011 but the singles underperformed so the label lowered the budget dramatically to the point that the album was scrapped. she then dropped some eps which picked up alot of traction on blogs. it got to a point where the label refused to pay for recording, tried to change the cover art to her in "long blonde hair, sitting on a bed looking cute, in a black dress looking pretty". a portion of the written material on the album is inspired by the label politics. she felt like a failure as a result of the label oppression.
