true but u said tinashe should have had a better label than rca to be on doja's level, when doja got there whilst signed to rca
she got there due to her own efforts, the Moo! video was a doja idea and i'm pretty sure she shot it herself at home just f***ing around. then RCA took the lead and starting pushing her much harder after seeing how much potential she had to be a big artist
but her label was not what got her hot.
She also needed a more defined persona and personality.
Thats where Doja Cat shines and what T lacks.
She had her hit song, move along already, it’s starving artists who wish they could be where she at right now
I thought the 'Splash Commandments' could never be topped, but this is the corniest thing I've ever seen
I live by Splash Commandments

Sad part is Doja and Tinashe are cool with each other, but we probably will never get a collab from them because of RCA

tinashe had a hit record too then they put the machine behind her and it didnt work out, s*** happens
tinashe should try making another hit record then, oh wait, she probably can't, not our (general public) or her label's fault
Her mixtapes were fire. Black Water my favorite project of hers but I haven’t heard her new stuff
Toes are immaculate, I chose well
Btw nobody touching her in the game rn
real niggas zoomed in on the feet real quick 🫡🤝💯

When the feet are out that zoom in is a natural reflex

damn you firing tinashe up, why don't you fw her music? I like most of her albums, the recent album she put out 777 was pretty insane, Unconditional w/ Kaytranda should have gotten more love tbh

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gibFnYf7VIAshe's talented and had her oppurtunity, it didnt work out
I don't like the entitlement she carries when she has a pretty succesful career despite not being a PoPStAr
She kinda earned her right to talk her s*** honestly. Great mixtapes and a solid debut. Then she was tossed aside and treated like an afterthought by her label, her label had her making music that just wasn't really her thing, and when she naturally underperformed due to lack of support they dropped her. She went independent and dropped two outstanding albums of her making the music she's been wanting to make, had two sold out successful concerts for those albums, and she's basically clawed her way back to the mainstream.
She got it forreal
Yall gotta stop blaming her label. They tried to push her hard and had artists like Chris Brown and The DREAM writing for her. The general public just didn't accept her.

Plus a Drake and peak Chance feature.
Has the thread gotten to “insert woman in the music industry here nEeds To dO P***” part yet?
