I’m not blaming it all on the label. This was also a case of bad timing. They tried to make her a popstar but it was during the time when pop music was fading. The traditional route of getting the biggest names for features and tv placements weren’t working. SoundCloud era was popping. All she needed was the right connection but never happened.

7K album units = 10.5M individual song streams (1500 single song streams = 1 album unit)

probably somewhere between 40-100K made off the album first week... then producers, engineers, features, need to get paid (or label needs to get paid back for paying them)
