I rly dont want that much man. Just want to go back to the times where kanye produced simple beats. The more you listen to TLOP the more you realize people added some random things in the middle of the beat every single time. Wish Kanye never changed TLOP man. The updated version ain't it

if you think about it, isn’t every aspect of music random? there’s no such thing as a blueprint for what music should sound like (except Barter 6), so all sounds in music are random choices

Most of the changes were mastering until he added saint Pablo and re arranged fade + feedback I don’t get what you mean by the first version > updated version

big facts lol. 2016 was a real weird year. i might make a thread on it later, but i think 2016 was the year a lot of people got into music, specifically rap music, so every release from that year is held in super high regards, even if it was trashed upon release. ffs there’s people who even call Views a classic

We can use this for Yeezus too

How is Yeezus overproduced when one of the main things about the album is how minimalistic it is.

This is proof that you niggas just throw around buzzwords without knowing what they mean. Just repeating s*** you’ve hear the next man say

yup also that's the year rap really became the new pop i'd say and the public shifted. I mean some people on here were 13 when TLOP, rodeo or Views dropped

Same vibe as 2013 when all the big releases were trashed, yeezus, NWTS, etc and now they're seen as classics by a lot of people
