Don’t fall for his tricks lol
Ye stans aren’t exactly known for being able to see through tricks
“Wait til I get my money right” is a metaphor for “wait til Obama is president” think about it
Mmmmmh
I meant his new music ofc. Not seeing Vultures single on the charts and the listening parties weren’t big cultural moments
Vultures single rollout was haphazard asf..Put out on a Wednesday (Nov 22),yanked from streaming and re-released 3 days later. Plus the track just aint that good.
Inspite of that--it still garnered more overall streams over it's first week than his previous carthatic pre lp releases WUITB , Ye Vs The People and Nah x3 . Based on meted listener stats/streaming,the lp will be a commercial boon upon release..Trust that

Vultures isn’t comparable to those though, it’s an actual single from the album. So that probably accounts for the boost

Nah man, you're grasping at straws here.Knock it off

Wuitb was on donda until dec 2020 and was meant to be a single. Wuitb is a better song than Vultures too, he's just bigger on streaming now.
It’s always the same 3-4 unemployed piece of s***s in here since months
No wonder why KTT fell off so hard

Because steaming is bigger than it was then across the board. So using this to claim he’s on the rise is a false equivalence, streaming is just on the rise. If he’s really that big on streaming, a new single would chart.
And really the more worrying part is that the listening parties weren’t notable events outside Ye stan circles. It didn’t even transcend to the general music sphere, forget general public like it usually has
Man’s about to give us a whole history lesson of antisemitism in America and why it’s bad
12 mins in he is gonna talk about this new type of plastic that his team invented that reflects sunlight in a slightly different shades of yellow.

Thread been open for 3 hours cry more
You’ve lost the plot when you’re on some boomer s*** about a music forum “this forum has really gone downhill, back in my day…” go outside and worry about your actual community, this is a web site

Ngl I'll never get the first point cause if that was the cause, nearly every artist would be doing better than they were. Why isn't Post Malone doing better now, why did his last album not even go number 1 if that was the case. S*** didn't even crack 100k streaming units wise and he's got some of the biggest hits of streaming era.
About the second point, I'd agree that Vegas one was a flop but Miami LP and Everybody snippet was huge. I see my casual listener friends liking posts about Vultures related to those 2, specially Everybody.

I post from work but I’m just saying, you’ll never see me on some “this site fell off boohoo” s*** just cause people have opinions I don’t like. That’s pathetic

Everybody snippet wasn’t huge, that’s you being really close proximity to the Ye bubble and having Ye friends. None of my friends knew about any of it happening I had to tell them after.
Post fall off is kind of isolated but his monthly listeners are probably higher than they were back in his “prime” so that would prove my point, an artist on the decline today streams more than a red hot artist 5 years ago
I hope he hired a writer for this.
TMZ already said it’s a mumble demo apology so probably not
I feel like he's the type to make an apology
then 15mins in, starts thinking he did nothing wrong and takes it back
"We're told in no uncertain terms, Ye was "rambling" and at times it was impossible to decode what he was saying."
“Sunna wunna dun I’m so sorry to the Jews”

15M views, 1 million likes and like 11 of my college people have liked it, and I'm not even American.
I've seen like 100s of Everybody reels lol.

Oh ok that actually makes more sense. Yeah I think Ye is bigger outside of America now. Over here it’s none of that. Donda was talked about in real life but regular people have no idea about this recent stuff, it’s very underground. I’d compare it to Earl Sweatshirt level hype, very if you know you know vibes
