not that the song is really all that bad we just want Uzi to make music that appeals to a more mature audience. as people that discovered Uzi when he was first coming out, we're in our 20s now. it kinda feels like Uzi's goal is to be cool and appeal to highschool kids forever.
Uzi is really just a grown man that never outgrew his high school mindset. You can hear it in his music and see it in the way he acts irl.
Uzi isn’t allergic to just falling off musically, EA was a more mature or rap friendly sounding project and it got boring quick, then when he reverts to his teenage angst sound, it’s kinda weird to listen to now. idrk anymore. the inevitable might be coming quicker than everyone expected. But he’s only 26
I'd say describing EA as mature is pushing it but I see what you're saying.
But if you go off his Twitter and this high school anthem, you can definitely see that's he's trying to not seem as old as he actually is. And I'm not saying 26 is old, he's still definitely young, but... come on lol.
It's like he knows the backlash of making fun of older rappers and artists when he was younger is coming to realization, like a bunch of other rappers from that Soundcloud era. He's either gotta pivot like Carti did with Kanye or stay stuck in this time loop.
Old ass little nigga
😂😂😂😂
Uzi seems to have matured and grown up as a person but his fanbase still wants the 21 year old weird d***ged out artist.
He’s trying to do anything he can to please that demo of his fans but he prob should start signing some younger artist to bring new energy to him and his fanbase
Dude was never meant to last this long. He’s lucky to be around this long past his sell-by date
This is the one, close in name, Party With The Demons, but this is the one he was alluding to
No way In hell he thought this was better than XO tour life
it's just a pop song that seems like mostly meant for teenagers
idk why people would expect more mature music from him like has he ever done that
2016-2017 was peak Uzi:
Money Longer
You Was Right
Do What I Want
Bad & Boujee
XO Tour Llif3
nothing he did after that will have as much impact and influence and that's an objective fact

his ability to sign would mean becoming a boss player but he's still just a kid himself signed to all these corporations
Been listening to LIR1 a lot recently, I think Uzi might just be past his prime tbh
Eternal Atake was fire but y’all were tripping

He needs to get away from rap entirely
Get into some island or electronic s*** just to weed the plebs out entirely
