That's how the controls were for Goldeneye 007 for N64...plus I always played aircraft simulators when I was a kid. Everything else is unnatural.

I can see how it makes sense to some people, say the stick was on the back of someone’s head and you wanted them to look up. You would push the stick down

The thing that confuses me is that people only usually play inverted vertically, horizontally is usually not inverted

    makes no sense to me

Perfect for Piloting Jets and Helis, It's alot easier pulling off Maneuvers and Post-Stall Maneuvers in Ace Combat by pulling down on the Stick.

  • Jun 23, 2020

    Depends on the game

Sometimes i have to turn it off/on
But i usually just adjust to whatever the default is

  • Jun 23, 2020

    Weirdo s*** tbh

  • Jun 23, 2020

The question is why not? Imagine if you were holding a camera, you angle it down to view a higher perspective and high to view a lower perspective. Turn your hands left for a right angle and right for a left angle. Mongaloids itt

I watched a video a while back of some dude getting his wife to play games for the first time and found that she needed the controls inverted so that the camera moves like a phone swipe which makes sense

When did videogames start to default to non-inverted? Because I'm pretty sure the default was inverted for a long time.

I played Dark Souls with inverted camera, it just felt right
