She's turned the brains against us
Majored in psychology, was in a related field with a leadership position lined up in March 2020.. needless to say covid wrecked everything and now I work an office job in an unrelated field for ~40% more pay
I have the opposite experience lol finally fell into my first psych position during Covid, and only because the governor ramped up the payouts for the position to meet the need
yup saved up to buy my first brick of fentanyl about a month after I graduated. Life is good
I always wanted to sell crack, never wanted to be a running back
Studied for 5 years, got 2 degrees. Was unemployed for the next 2 and a half years (wasn't trying as hard as I could've to find a job for those first 2 years tbh), currently at my third job since I started working in July 2023 where I'm earning $455 per month
i dropped out my freshman year. I'm probably the exception to the rule but I work with a small team and all my peers have masters+
i know someone with a masters that works as a TSA agent. its all a coin toss depending on what you major.

She's turned the brains against us
Aye shes turned the weens against us
I graduate next Friday with my first degree lol.
I’ve been a store manager, a project engineer, a project manager, an operations manager and a director of operations and now I’m a service technician lmao. Just taking opportunities when they’re offered/working hard
None of these are my dream job but we survive
I'm not in the US. Live in a country with a 32% unemployment rate and work in an extremely oversaturated field
I dropped out after finding my dream job and I'm wondering why the f*** I even wanted to go to school for this
Switching careers to be a firefighter/emt and freelance my art for the rest of my life
Real. Make sure that’s something you REALLY want to do. You’re out there saving lives so you want to have the desire to learn everything about your tools and equipment and be ready for anything
yes. not in my dream position but in my career field. graduated spring 2020 and landed a job the end of summer of that year. looking back, i was just blessed. and since then, each opportunity has guided me to the next
