OP, what are the most valuable things you have learned during this time? From the period of you starting work there to the point of you deciding to opt for a new job.

Experience is VERY important. I now see why employers want experienced workers. Experience is useful for actually doing the work.

Gain transferable skills, then you can do your job at a different place for more money!

Networking is vital. It will open up doors for you your experience won’t.

Take on responsibility early in your career. Your resume/experience will seem well beyond your job title

Have fun, life is short, but your career is long. If your company gives pto/vacation time take it.

If you’re young don’t be afraid to take chances, you got the rest of your life to recover (as long as it’s not something crazy)

    Get into the tech field
