great album, but also marked a turning point in his career
Agree with you, but why do you say that?
Changed the sound of mainstream hiphop.
Started from the bottom changed it but this album fully converted it.
Whole album was ringing off everywhere
Not going to push the narrative of this being the BEST Drake project
But for sure my favourite Drake project ever
10 bands for the first time
The beat-switch on Know Yourself changed the culture forever
His hunger and passion on No Tellin - "Please do not speak to me like I'm that Drake from four years ago I'm at a higher place" line still gives me goosebumps
The f***ing dense, murkiness on Star67, the cold beat breakdown, the introspection
Travis renegading on Company "I'M A DOG I GO HAM I;M A HOG"
The transition from Preach into Wednesday Night Interlude ohhhh myyyyyyy gawwwdddd
The warm bounce of Jungle
Amazing project
Great project man. I remember being on KTT 1 for the drop. Jungle documentary was incredible. We were going crazy when Know Yourself played during doc. This is a top 3 Drake project to me.
Fav tracks:
I honestly like every track except Preach and Wednesday night
I DON'T WANA MISS THE BOAT
I DON'T WANA SIT IN COACH
I DON'T WANA SIT AT HOME
I GOTTA GET WHERE I'M GOING
I'M AFIRAD I'M GONNA DIE BEFORE I GET WHERE I'M GOING
The song run from Legend to Star67 might be the best one from the 2010s, imagine if the project didn’t have those PND tracks
Legendary project, f*** Meek for putting a stain on it
Agree with you, but why do you say that?
I think it changed his personality and pushed his ego to high after this release and the meek stuff.
Even tho I like views and more life etc...he feels like he’s been on auto pilot since imo
legendary
the period it dropped was the best time of my life
a f***ing classic
soundtrack to those times
too many memories attached to this tape
too many summer nights partying
too much alcohol, the girls singing preach word for word off the tequila
too many nights at the beach
too many nights bumping wednesday interlude with girls in the whip
and i still bump it at least once a week in the gym
that whole era
i feel like drake was 100% here sonically, captured so many moments
music of a lifetime
being from mia this s*** hit different running round south beach and downtown at that time >>>
walking around Toronto and hearing what seemed like every other car bumping this tape was crazy, what a time. still my fav drizzy project
A lot of y’all weren’t there for this
were you in the trenches
were you in the trenches
We was in there when demar ratted a couple months before

Did you believe him? Drake section was looking like current America with how divided we were on if he was 🧢 or not
