It's going to be crazy in 10 or so years looking back at this early 2020's run. 4 albums (5 if you include DLDT) in a 3 year stretch is nuts. What a time
It is. It'll also age better.
Only took a year, crazy
When it dropped people were saying WATTBA
That s*** has a lot of nostalgia for it though and well deserved

There really isn't a single mediocre song on Her Loss and it's only as strong as it is because it's mostly Drake on the project.

I wouldn't say it's only strong because of that but they definitely put more effort into the project
WATTBA was very fast

I said it's only "as strong." Drake is 100% the best thing about the album. The mere fact that 21 Savage is relegated to a supporting act on the album (only making an appearance on 11/15 songs — 10, if you count Hours in Silence, which he was barely on for 30 seconds) and it's still as great as it is, tells you all you need to know. Drake had the better hooks, better bars, better flows, etc. The album excels because of Drake. Not entirely because of him but definitely mostly.
WATTBA didn't feel like an album and it was Drake still being early days venturing into the trap sound so it sounded more like a Future project with Drake being sprinkled all around than an actual collab project.
Even with 21 Savage's limited time on Her Loss, it still feels like more of a collaborative effort between him and Drake than WATTBA felt like between Future and Drake.
