Show is carried by everyone except the MC. Has a convenient, nonsensical plot at times as well banking on the MC being trash.

Apparently sales for the manga in Japan are high though so apparently the kids love it.

Maybe it gets better later.

The manga is really great, very easy read and has a better vine than the anime. You really get absorbed when reading it

There's this newer manga called OUT which is about this teenage delinquent who was runnin wild in Tokyo and got locked up. Then he gets out and moves to his aunt's in the countryside and gets dragged back into the street life. Bruh this s*** is wild and the crazy part about it is that the protagonists and antagonists both have shades of gray, so they both have valid grievances with each other. I don't wanna get into spoiler territory so please check it out lol

Bouncer takes place in the same universe as OUT but centers around a dude being a bouncer for a night club and getting into fights with the local gangsters and s***

Sun Ken Rock is about a dude who falls into the gang lifestyle after moving to Korea and becoming poor chasing after the girl he loves. The art is f***in amazing.

There's also CLOVER which ran from 2007-2015

It's a series that started out being about delinquents, but then later on turned into a Shonen fist of the north knockoff, just like most series from that era.
