This is with 6 songs
Rihanna has 14 #1s btw
Prayers up, he could score his 50th week at #1 upper week Monday.
Nice for What blocked Nonstop.
Hello and The Hills blocked Hotline Bling but that was more on Drake failing to drop it's music video on YouTube the week it was released.
Best I Ever Had was blocked by I Gotta Feeling which was a monster back in 2009.
He didn't get feature credit for Sicko Mode.
i remember the hot 100 thread calculating whether nonstop would beat nice for what and it just missed it by a hair
coulda had 4 #1's off 1 album
Was Hello the song with the highest peak of the 2010’s?
i stoped paying attention to the charts in 2019 so idk if Old Town Road surpassed Hello, but i remember Hello being the only song to reach 1000+ points in a week on the predictions people do
gods plan had like 800 at its peak
Was Hello the song with the highest peak of the 2010’s?
Harlem Shake was actually 1st because Billboard used to inflate streaming power and it did 100 million+ streams in 2013
Hello was 2nd tho
just some info on this
streaming wise first day it debuted #1 on AM and Spotify. Apple dont release numbers but it had an 800k streaming advantage on Spotify which is solid. Airplay also had a strong debut at #12 but it needs to gain as much as it can because thats a big advantage area for blinding lights. iTunes its beating blinding lights but not by a massive margin. Youtube its comfortably leading competitors. TikTok is off to a pretty strong start trending towards 25-30k videos in the first 48 hours. this will pack up massively if big creators get on the trend and im assuming talks are in progress w them in terms of compensation.
basically its locked in for a top 4 debut. it will either debut at #4 or #1 I would guess as the current 1,2,3 are very close point wise so if its trending towards that area id expect it to get pushed to go #1 by the label
Didn’t feel like making a thread on it and since there is #1 talk here, just realizing and putting out that Drake should have close to 11 #1s rather than the 6 he has

IMF
Work
What’s Name

Nonstop: Blocked by himself by a scratch
Life is Good: Blocked by one of the biggest songs of the last 2 years at its absolute peak
Nigga is unlucky asf

At least he has a couple of #1 hits. Nicki doesn't have any. The few times she's come close, she's been blocked.

“Left foot up, right foot slide”

Secured it for who?

and drake got a radio deal which means huge radio gains
10M in 2 days on yt
10 days and about 7 hours, yeah, lol. I have it at 25 million views by the end of the tracking week on Thursday. He usually gets most of his views from the US so I won't be surprised if about 12-15 of those 25 million views are US-based. I have him with at least 14 million streams from Spotify and to be safe 26 million streams from Apple Music. That's about 50-60 million streams including every other streaming platform like YouTube music, Amazon, Pandora, etc. If he can manage to debut with 40-50 million in radio impressions, that's an automatic shot at #1. Even if he only pulls 40-50 million streams by the end of the tracking week.

Let’s hope so
I hope this stays #1 on the charts for at least 10 weeks
It'll have to be stable on radio and streaming to be able to do that. I don't see it having that kind of longevity, but I could be wrong. He should drop another single 5-6 weeks after this one depending on how it performs. If it's still going strong after 6 weeks, he can wait, but otherwise, he should put out another single.
