How many points each film has!
1st is 10 down to 10th being 1st, and if the list isnt in order I count each entry as being worth 5. Its a mess rn tho cause Im switching tabs, so have to save each entry so I dont lose what I wrote haha
You seen Tokyo Fist?
No i actually havent seen any Tsukamoto films. He's been on my watchlist for a long time and just havent got around to him yet.
The 80s and 90s is bit of a blind spot for me with Japanese film. I've only seen a couple dozen or so for those decades, compared to the tons i've seen from older and newer ones.

older threads should be up to date unless someone posted in em today
I really should rewatch Eyes Wide Shut cause I all I remember was this s***

I don’t think it’s decade best material people just love slurping Kubrick’s noodle and we gonna have AI Artificial Intelligence in the top for 00s at this point

At least I didn't get my nose bitten off by a Saigon w****

AI is one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen
You are right about American Beauty
It's even better now that we know Kevin Spacey is insane

It's pretty gnarly but gives you illuminati blue balls tbh
and stoned Nicole Kidman is one of the most annoying scenes ever
Ending of A.I. crushes me every single time. Most truly humanistic work since Chaplin’s City Lights.

It’s a good double feature with Huston’s Fat City to get two dramatically different approaches to boxing.

I liked the first 30 minutes before s*** got big trash
